A new study by Denmark’s Technical University (DTU) Food Institute reveals that 15% of children and adolescents aged 10–17 regularly consume energy drinks, with nearly a third exceeding caffeine levels linked to adverse health effects.

The research, reported by Danish broadcaster DR, highlights concerns over caffeine sensitivity in young people. Symptoms such as dizziness, tremors, and headaches may occur when intake surpasses recommended limits.

Experts warn that high caffeine consumption could impact well-being, particularly in younger populations where tolerance is lower.
