Danish comedian Nikolaj Stokholm advocates return to handwritten notes
Danish comedian Nikolaj Stokholm has called for a return to analog note-taking, arguing that handwritten notes on paper offer unique creative benefits over digital typing, Danish broadcaster DR reports.
Stokholm, known for his stand-up performances, uses pen and paper to clear his mind and sketch out ideas for his shows. “We need to bring back the analog,” he stated in an interview with DR’s Aftenshowet.
The comedian described the process of writing by hand as fundamentally different from typing on a keyboard, suggesting it allows for greater mental clarity and spontaneity in developing material.
