Finnish multi-sector company Grano will lay off 41 employees following the conclusion of its restructuring negotiations, the firm’s majority owner, investment company Panostaja, announced on Wednesday.

The negotiations, which covered Grano’s entire workforce of around 700 employees, will result in the elimination of 69 positions in total. The company also secured an agreement allowing temporary layoffs of 2–4 weeks if needed.

The measures aim to achieve annual savings of approximately €2.5 million. Grano, which provides services including marketing communications, cited weakened demand and the need to reduce costs as reasons for the restructuring. The company had previously announced in February that the negotiations were driven by organisational reform and financial pressures.
