House fully engulfed in fire in Horten

A detached house in Horten was completely ablaze early Saturday morning, with emergency services working to contain the fire, Norwegian news agency NTB reports.

Emergency responders were alerted to the fire at 1:44 AM. By 2:00 AM, firefighting efforts were underway, though it remained unclear whether anyone was inside the house at the time.

“The house is fully engulfed in flames,” the Southeast Police District confirmed.
