Árni Ellefsen appointed new CEO of Smyril Line Holding

The Faroese shipping company Smyril Line Holding has named Árni Ellefsen as its new CEO, replacing Jens Meinhard Rasmussen, Kringvarp Føroya reports.

Changes have also been made to the company’s board. Arne Joensen, Jens Meinhard Rasmussen, and Helga á Borg have stepped down, while Niels Winther Poulsen and Árni Ellefsen have joined. Additionally, Poula Sundberg Michelsen has been appointed to the board of the subsidiary Smyril-Line.
