The leopards at Copenhagen Zoo now have access to a new elevated walking trail, allowing them to move between enclosures above ground level, DR reports.

The 25-metre-long structure connects two parts of the leopard habitat, giving the animals an expanded range and new vantage points. Zoo officials say the trail is designed to stimulate the leopards’ natural climbing instincts while providing visitors with better viewing opportunities.

Construction of the trail follows recent upgrades to the zoo’s big cat facilities, part of ongoing efforts to enhance animal welfare and visitor experience.
