Major fire breaks out in Turku industrial building

A large fire has broken out in an industrial area of Turku, southwest Finland, with emergency services deploying 26 response units to the scene, reports Finnish public broadcaster Yle.

The fire was reported just before 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday in the Artukainen district, home to several major facilities including the Turku Hall arena. No injuries have been reported so far.

Firefighters remain at the scene, and updates are expected as the situation develops.
