A new exhibition in Copenhagen uses Lego bricks to highlight the growing divide in Denmark’s housing market, reports Danish broadcaster DR.

The installation, titled “How High Can You Build?”, features stacks of Lego towers representing the maximum home price different income groups can afford. The tallest towers—symbolising high earners—dwarf those of lower-income households, visually demonstrating the gap between wages and property prices.

Organisers say the project aims to spark discussion about housing affordability, as rising prices push homeownership further out of reach for many Danes. The exhibition also includes data on regional price differences, showing how location deepens inequality.

The display is part of a broader campaign by housing advocacy groups calling for policy changes to address the imbalance.
