Driving warning covers southern and western Finland

Driving conditions are expected to be poor on Father’s Day morning across much of southern and western Finland and in the Käsivarsi region of Lapland, Yle reports, citing the Finnish Meteorological Institute.

Roads in southern and western Finland are expected to be frosty, with icy surfaces. The potentially hazardous conditions extend from Uusimaa and Central Finland to the west coast, reaching as far as Central Ostrobothnia.

In Enontekiö, Lapland, snow and sleet are expected to worsen driving conditions.
