Høgni Hoydal expresses concern over U.S. commitments affecting global stability
Høgni Hoydal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, has expressed concern over the potential repercussions of the United States reconsidering its commitments to international agreements and organizations, as this could impact global stability.
In light of the recent elections in the U.S., Hoydal is not overly troubled by the possibility that the election results will affect cooperation between the Faroe Islands and the United States, particularly regarding security and defense matters.
Furthermore, the minister does not believe that the outcome of the elections will alter the trade agreements between the U.S. and the Faroe Islands.
