Vehicle found floating in Drammenselva River near Landfalløy Bridge in Norway

Police reported that a vehicle fell into the water near Landfalløy Bridge in Drammen just after noon. Multiple emergency services were dispatched in response to the incident. As they arrived, it was noted that the car was floating down the Drammenselva River.

The police tried to reach the vehicle’s owner and gain insight into the situation. By 12:11, rescuers from the fire department reached the car. Currently, no one has been reported missing in connection with the incident.

According to police observation, it appears that the vehicle may have been parked at a nearby car repair shop before rolling into the river. Authorities are working to confirm these details.

By around 12:30, police indicated that there were no signs suggesting that anyone was inside the car when it entered the water. Investigations are ongoing, and the police are in contact with the vehicle’s owner and the relevant repair shop. A tow truck is en route to the area where the firefighters have secured the vehicle.
