Brimli tows trawler to port of Tórshavn after 27-hour rescue operation

It took Brimli several hours to tow a trawler to the port of Tórshavn on Wednesday and Thursday. According to the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC), the rescue operation commenced at 7 PM on Wednesday evening and lasted for 27 hours.

The trawler was located to the north of the area. In the afternoon of Thursday, the vessel Ziska successfully towed another boat to shore from the east.
