Arion Bank reports nearly two billion ISK profit increase in third quarter

Arion Bank has reported a nearly two billion ISK increase in its profit for the third quarter of the year, reaching a total of 7.9 billion ISK. This marks a significant improvement compared to the same period last year, when the profit was only 6.1 billion ISK, representing a difference of 1.8 billion ISK.

Additionally, the bank’s profit for the first nine months of the year stood at 17.8 billion ISK, which is slightly under the previous year’s figure of 19.5 billion ISK by nearly two billion ISK.

Benedikt Gíslason, the CEO of Arion Bank, stated that the bank’s performance this quarter was strong and aligned with their expectations.
