Faroese company GroAqua develops world’s largest feed pellet for Bakkafrost
The Faroese company GroAqua has embarked on a project to develop the world’s largest feed pellet, which will be supplied to another Faroese business, Bakkafrost.
This initiative involves the creation of two massive feed pellets, and Suni Justinussen, the managing director of GroAqua, stated that they have been working on this plan for some time. Producing such oversized, unmanned feed pellets is not a simple task once they are put into use.
The decision by a Faroese company to undertake the production of these groundbreaking, large-scale feed pellets, both in terms of technology and size, has caught international attention. Justinussen is confident that GroAqua’s efforts will push the boundaries of what is possible with feed pellets, opening up new markets beyond the Faroese sector.
