A proposal for a new vice-chair has been put forward, with Hervør Pálsdóttir currently serving as the acting vice-chair.
Additionally, a party member has proposed that Dennis Holm be nominated as chairman; however, he has since informed the chairman of the central board that he will not accept the nomination.
The Republican Party will hold an extraordinary congress at the Hotel Føroyar on Saturday at noon, where the leadership and vice leadership positions will be elected.
