Dumpen is drawing individuals who seek sexual contacts with children. However, when they arrange to meet, they are confronted by Dumpen, which posts about the encounters on its website. Several individuals have reportedly taken their own lives after being featured on the site.

Many men have allegedly paid large sums, sometimes exceeding 100,000 kronor, to a partner organization named Impulskollen to avoid publication of their information. Impulskollen, which lacks licensed staff, is said to provide support to individuals struggling with unwanted sexual impulses, as reported by a local newspaper.

Documentation from Impulskollen suggests they share the money received from these men with Dumpen. The founder, Sara Nilsson, denied any responsibility for Impulskollen’s practices but firmly rejected claims of financial inducements to avoid being exposed. She stated, “One cannot buy their way out of publication,” and emphasized that decisions on postponement are based on assessments of suicide risk and other factors, asserting that human compassion drives these actions.

Thomas Bodström, a lawyer and former justice minister, raised concerns about potential extortion or illegal threats, noting that agreements made under coercion are void. He indicated that some individuals feel pressured to agree to terms to prevent their lives from being ruined by publication. Bodström believes there may be grounds for legal recourse to reclaim funds and suggests a collective approach if more individuals step forward.

Sara Nilsson welcomed the possibility of a police investigation into the matter to uncover any unethical transactions. She expressed hope that authorities could provide clarity on the situation.
