In the past week, the fire alarm system in the H-building of the National Hospital has been activated twice. While there was no actual fire on either occasion, the incidents caused significant concern for patients, relatives, and staff.

Steinar Eirikstoft, the director of the National Hospital, stated that each alarm incident was triggered by the work of contractors on site. He has since requested Landsverk to ensure that contractors adhere to more stringent safety protocols to prevent future alarms.

For further details, a radio news segment is available discussing the incidents.
