Protesters from Iceland-Palestine organization target Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Reykjavik

This morning, protesters from the Iceland-Palestine organization splattered red paint on the exterior of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Reykjavik. Their aim was to draw attention to what they claim is the government’s inaction regarding the conflict in Gaza. On their Instagram page, the group stated that Icelandic authorities have failed to take any action in the year since the Israeli military’s incursion into Gaza.

During the protest, demonstrators also shouted slogans in support of Lebanon, which has recently faced attacks from Israeli forces. Some protesters carried signs that read “Do something.”
