Negotiations begin among Trade Union, Ministry of Finance, and Local Government Employers’ Association in Selfoss

Negotiations began at 1 PM today among the Trade Union, the Ministry of Finance, and the Local Government Employers’ Association, KAF.

The agreements between the parties expired on October 1, but they continue to be in effect.

Súni Selfoss, the chairman of the Trade Union, expressed before the first negotiation meeting that he did not anticipate the parties would present their demands today.

In this round of negotiations, the Trade Union aims to focus on achieving the best possible wage increases.
