Jaczon Trawler returns to Faroese fishing industry with new company Gamli Jupiter in Hósvík

The Dutch shipping company Jaczon Trawler has returned to the Faroese fishing industry.

The registration entity has received notification that the limited liability company Gamli Jupiter has been established, based in Hósvík.

Jaczon Trawler has founded the company.

Gunnbjørn Joensen is the managing director, while Arnout Langerak from The Hague serves as the chairman of the board. Other board members are not mentioned in the notification to the registration entity.

The share capital amounts to 50,000 DKK.

The company’s purpose is to own Gamli Jupiter and engage in shipping operations, trading, and related activities.

According to reports, Framherji in Fuglafjørður owns Gamli Jupiter, which currently holds no fishing license.

Gamli Jupiter was built in Norway in 1994 and arrived in the Faroe Islands in the summer of 2007.
