Finnish President Alexander Stubb to meet King Philippe in Brussels

Finnish President Alexander Stubb is set to meet today in Brussels with King Philippe of Belgium and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. Discussions between Stubb and King Philippe will focus on the security environment in Europe and the Middle East, as well as the bilateral relations between Finland and Belgium.

With Secretary General Rutte, Stubb will address the implementation of decisions made at the recent Washington summit, strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defense capabilities, as well as support for Ukraine. Stubb’s meeting with King Philippe will take place at the royal palace, while he will convene with Rutte at NATO’s headquarters.
