Man dies in ATV accident on Kirkkonmaa Island off the coast of Kotka

A middle-aged man died in a weekend ATV accident on Kirkkonmaa Island, located off the coast of Kotka. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when the ATV he was operating overturned, trapping him underneath it and resulting in his death at the scene.

The police received an emergency call regarding the accident at approximately 5 PM from a bystander who happened to be present at the location. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway, alongside an examination to determine the cause of death.
