Young people in Nordic countries can now apply for funding for environmental projects

Young people aged 15 to 30 in the Nordic countries can now apply for funding for projects related to the environment and biodiversity.
The Nordic Council, the Nordic Ministers for Gender Equality, and the Danish Youth Council have established the Nordisk Ungdomspulje for Biodiversitet og Klima fund.
The Danish Youth Council will administer the fund.
The aim of the fund is to support initiatives proposed by Nordic youth. These initiatives may include awareness campaigns, nature exploration trips, workshops, and the development of climate policies.
Applicants can request funding ranging from 25,000 to 250,000 Danish kroner.
The fund has a total of three million and 54,000 kroner available.
The application deadline for the first round is October 27 of this year.
