The tidal lagoon at Sund, which sustained damage during severe weather in September, is expected to be rebuilt, though it may take up to a year before it can be put back into operation.
Heri Mortensen, the head of SEV’s production department, noted the high demand for the lagoon, with initial plans aiming for it to be operational by the end of the year.
Currently, the lagoon is under insurance review, making it difficult to determine the next steps regarding its future.
