Danish deans gather in Faroe Islands for annual meeting at Nordic House

The Danish Dean’s Association recently held its annual meeting in the Faroe Islands, attended by 70 deans. The gathering took place at the Nordic House, with additional visits to the church at Gøtugjógv and Christianskirkjan.

Annette Bennedsgaard, the chair of the Danish Dean’s Association, shared insights on the Faroese church life, voluntary work, and the financial governance of the national church with the Faroese People’s Church’s website.

She noted that these are aspects that can certainly be beneficial and applied in Denmark.
