Heilbrigdi to relocate to new premises in Tórshavn after summer holidays

The health institution Heilbrigdi is set to move into new premises in the center of Tórshavn after the summer holidays next year.

In an additional budget proposal for September, the government is requesting 17 million Danish krone to purchase and renovate the facility known as Kerit, which is currently owned by the Franciscan Sisters.

“Acquiring Kerit has been a necessary solution,” says Margit Stórá, the Minister of Health.

Today, the Legislative Assembly held its first discussion on the proposal for the additional budget for September. The proposal has now been sent to the finance committee for further consideration.
