Road closure planned on Suðurlandsvegur near Rauðavatn
Iceland Suðurlandsvegur will close near Rauðavatn for asphalt repairs on Monday evening, mbl.is reported, citing a notice from the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.
The closure is planned from 8 p.m. until midnight, between the roundabout where Suðurlandsvegur meets Breiðholtsbraut and the roundabout connecting Suðurlandsvegur with Norðlingavað. Drivers will be diverted via Norðlingabraut while the work is under way.
