No mass layoffs reported in September, contrasting with August’s group layoffs impacting 270 employees in Norway

In September, no mass layoffs were reported to the Directorate of Labour. In contrast, three notifications of group layoffs were submitted in August, leading to the dismissal of 270 employees across various sectors. These layoffs affected the tourism industry, the production of computer, electronic, and optical products, the manufacturing of machinery for food processing, as well as construction of residential and commercial properties.
