Anina Rasmussen was on a train from Copenhagen Central Station to Hamburg when a shocking scene unfolded before her. According to the Copenhagen Police, they are investigating a “suspicious situation.” As a result, train traffic was temporarily disrupted.

Rasmussen described the chaos, stating that suddenly five to ten masked officers rushed into the train, shouting and tackling a young man. “They pinned him down to the bench and yelled for everyone to stay still and not film. It was extremely unsettling,” she recounted, as she was heading off for a holiday.

Earlier, the Copenhagen Police reported two explosions occurred near the Israeli embassy in Hellerup on Wednesday night, with no injuries reported. Authorities are still looking into whether the explosions are linked to the embassy, though it remains unclear if the police operation at the train station is connected.

Rasmussen noted that officers seemed particularly focused on a bag left in a net on the train. “They shouted that no one should touch it. We were simply told to get off the train immediately,” she said.

She described the young man in question as slender, dressed in dark clothing with a hood pulled up. “I’m in shock. It was intense. You’re sitting on a train to Hamburg, and then it’s suddenly filled with police. It was very uncomfortable. I’m really shaken. This doesn’t happen every day when you’re heading on vacation.”
