Green Party congress to address new strategy and initiatives in Otaniemi, Espoo

The Green Party’s congress will commence on Saturday in Otaniemi, Espoo. A key agenda item for the two-day meeting is the approval of the party’s new eight-year strategy. Chairperson Sofia Virta will deliver the opening address, joined by speeches from the leader of the parliamentary group, Oras Tynkkynen, and Member of the European Parliament, Maria Ohisalot.
Additionally, the congress will address fifteen initiatives put forward by party members. These initiatives include proposals for rehabilitation and repatriation services for Finns who have fought in Ukraine, as well as the recognition of polygamous marriages.
Voting on the strategy and the initiatives will take place on Sunday.
