Iceland braces for light rain and snow as low-pressure system approaches

A small low-pressure system is moving south of Iceland, bringing light rain or sleet to the northern and eastern regions today, as well as some areas in the South and West tomorrow morning. Northerly winds are expected, generally ranging from three to ten meters per second. Conditions will improve, but isolated precipitation is still anticipated in the southeast. Tomorrow evening, light snow showers are predicted for the northeastern part of the country. Daytime temperatures tomorrow may reach up to nine degrees Celsius, with milder conditions along the southern coast, while slightly frosty conditions can be expected in the inland areas of northeastern Iceland.
