Finnish Parliament convenes for autumn session in Helsinki

The Finnish Parliament, known as Eduskunta, convenes today for its first plenary session of the autumn sitting. The session, starting at 2 PM, will include discussions on the Ombudsman’s report and the annual report from the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.

Members of Parliament will face several challenging topics throughout the autumn. Among the issues slated for discussion are controversial reforms related to labor markets, proposals aimed at tightening immigration policies, and budget cuts decided in the government’s framework session.
