Turmion Kätilöt to release new album “Reset” and biography this fall

The Kuopio-based industrial metal band Turmion Kätilöt is set to release a new album this fall. Titled “Reset,” the album will be their eleventh studio release and is scheduled for launch on October 25. The band also unveiled a new single, “Yksi jumalista,” on Wednesday.

Additionally, a history of the band will be published in the fall, chronicling their two-decade journey in the music industry. The book, titled “En tahdo unohtaa koskaan” (I Do Not Want to Ever Forget), is authored by writer and journalist Elina Järvi and will be released in early October. It will explore some of the more painful themes behind the band’s lyrics, as Järvi has closely followed Turmion Kätilöt’s career over the years.

Founded in 2003, Turmion Kätilöt has experienced significant success both in Finland and internationally in recent years.
