Today, weather conditions in Southern and Western Iceland are expected to be mostly clear and beautiful, with temperatures reaching up to 15 degrees Celsius at their peak. However, there will be a northerly breeze nationwide, with stronger winds expected in the eastern regions. A light rain is anticipated in the northeast, resulting in cooler temperatures there.

Forecasts for tomorrow indicate that a low-pressure system will move eastward across the southern part of the country, bringing persistent rainfall to that region. Other areas can expect cloudy conditions, with occasional light showers, particularly as the day progresses. Along the southern coast, a notable easterly wind will develop, which could pose risks for vehicles sensitive to wind conditions.

On Thursday, the aforementioned low-pressure system is predicted to be situated east of the country, shifting winds to a northerly direction, accompanied by drizzle and rain. Meanwhile, the southern parts are expected to remain relatively dry. Overall, temperatures are expected to range between 6 to 12 degrees Celsius throughout this period.
