Four-vehicle collision causes traffic standstill on Highway 3 in Ikaalinen

A four-vehicle chain collision occurred in Ikaalinen on Friday evening around 6 PM. The accident took place on Highway 3 near Patrakanmäki. According to the Pirkanmaa rescue department, six individuals were involved in the incident and have been taken to receive emergency medical care.

The accident happened in the lane heading towards Vaasa, where three traffic lanes are available—two heading towards Tampere and one towards Vaasa. Traffic has come to a standstill in the area due to the accident, and the rescue services are currently directing traffic using one of the available lanes. Further updates will follow.
