Police searched Reykjavik for man carrying a stun gun
Police searched central Reykjavik overnight for a person carrying a stun gun, but found neither the individual nor the weapon, mbl.is reported.
The incident was among those recorded in the Reykjavík Metropolitan Police log.
In Police Station 1’s district, which covers Austurbær, central Reykjavik, Vesturbær and Seltjarnarnes, one person was arrested for drunkenness and disorderly conduct in public after hitting cars and bothering people.
Police in the same district also received a report of a break-in at a music shop. One person was stopped for speeding, while another was caught driving under the influence of drugs.
In Police Station 4’s district, which covers Grafarvogur, Mosfellsbær and Árbær, officers responded to a report of noise at a private home. When they arrived, they found young people playing computer games.
Police in the same district were also called to deal with a drunk man who had gone to the wrong house and tried to enter a private residence.
