Copenhagen library opens Taylor Swift book club

Copenhagen’s main library has opened a book club devoted to Taylor Swift, DR reports. The club brings together readers who share an interest in the pop star as well as literature.

Swift’s songs contain references to literary works including William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Great Gatsby”.

DR asked Taylor Swift fan and lecturer Karoline Daae, who runs the new book club, to set a six-question challenge on the literary references in the singer’s songs.
