Niinistö to address Europe’s hybrid threats in Yle interview

President Sauli Niinistö will discuss hybrid influence in Europe and other current issues on Yle’s Ykkösaamu programme, Yle reports. Seija Vaaherkumpu will interview him.

Recent reports have described false bomb threats against airlines and media companies in several countries. Russia is suspected of being behind at least some of them. Shops in Sweden and Belgium have also been targeted, including through attacks on freezer displays.

Ukraine and Russia are due to hold peace talks in Abu Dhabi next week, mediated by the United States.
