Destia uncovers unexploded charges at Laakso Joint Hospital construction site in Finland

Construction company Destia has discovered two unexploded explosive charges at the Laakso Joint Hospital construction site. The charges were located with the assistance of specially trained explosive detection dogs, which Destia had employed to survey the blasted surface area of the site. The explosives have been safely removed.

Destia plans to bring the dogs back to the site to investigate underground areas as well, suggesting to the alliance that this additional inspection will ensure a safe continuation of work across the entire construction zone, according to the company’s statement.
