Finance Minister Daði Már Kristófersson says former Landsvirkjun CEO Hörður Arnarson left four board meetings when matters concerning him were discussed, mbl.is reports.

Hörður has objected to four board meetings, saying he was unlawfully prevented from taking part. A statement from Landsvirkjun’s board says it met twice without him to discuss his complaints about its work. At two other meetings, Hörður left while agenda items concerning him were discussed.

On October 26, Daði told media that no formal board meetings had been held without Hörður. Asked about the discrepancy with the board’s statement, he said that a CEO leaves board meetings when matters concerning the CEO are discussed.

“No meetings are called without him. But he leaves meetings when his matters are discussed, and that happened four times,” Daði said.
