Police see possible links between suspects and victims
Police investigating a homicide in Breiðholt have reason to believe there are links between the alleged perpetrators and the victims, mbl.is reports. E. Agnes Eide, chief superintendent in the police investigation department, confirmed this to the news outlet.
Three people are being held in connection with the case, including an Icelandic man in his thirties and his father. Police have not requested their remand in custody at this stage. All three remained in custody when the article was published.
The attack took place at the corner of Hraunberg and Austurberg in Breiðholt, near a shopping centre that houses Hraunberg convenience shop and Viethouse. A fight was also reported earlier that evening a short distance away, between Hólabrekkuskóli and Fjölbrautaskólinn í Breiðholti, a school and an upper-secondary school.
