Flóttamannaleið closed after car overturns
Iceland A road called Flóttamannaleið near Lake Vífilsstaðavatn was closed after a car overturned on Friday morning, mbl.is reports.
The crash happened shortly before 8am because of icy conditions, Lárus Steindór Björnsson, a shift supervisor with the Capital Area Fire Department, told mbl.is. One person sustained minor injuries.
The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration reported icy patches in several parts of the city and urged drivers to take care.
