ÁTVR cuts nearly six positions and abolishes managing director role
ÁTVR has reduced its number of divisions, abolished the managing director role and cut nearly six full-time positions at its office and distribution centre, the company said in a statement reported by mbl.is. It also plans not to fill all vacant positions in the coming months.
The changes are intended to improve efficiency, respond to falling sales and align the company’s structure and responsibilities with its new strategy. They also address a requirement from the Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs to make operations more efficient.
ÁTVR estimates that the reorganisation, together with other efficiency measures, will save about 150 million krónur a year once fully implemented.
The company has been working to streamline operations and adapt to changing conditions since 2020. Its number of full-time positions has fallen from 356 to 292 over that period, a decrease of 18 per cent.
