Finland’s police have established an artificial intelligence office to support the use of AI in police work, Yle reported.
The office aims to reduce routine tasks, free staff to focus on more demanding work and shorten criminal investigations. It is part of the Police Board’s IT administration.
Police Board technology director Tapio Aaltonen announced the office at a media event on Wednesday.
