Faroe Islands tax burden fell to 41.2% of GDP

The tax burden in the Faroe Islands was 41.2% of gross domestic product last year, down from 42% in 2024, KVF reported, citing Hagstovan.

The figure has reached 46%, in 1999, and fallen below 40%: it stood at 39.5% in 2016.
