Six mass layoff notices affect 181 workers

Six collective layoff notices covering 181 employees were received in September 2026, mbl.is reported, citing the Directorate of Labour.

The largest number of affected workers, 80, were in software and information technology. A further 68 worked in construction, 20 in fish processing and 13 in sports activities.

Most of the layoffs are due to take effect between October 2026 and March 2027.
