Gardening offers a varied and rewarding career, two women say

Gardening may not be high on young people’s lists of future study and career options, but Marita Zachariasen and Sigrið Gunnarstein say it offers a good education and varied, rewarding work, KVF reports.

Zachariasen invited teachers from the school she attended to Klaksvík to explain the training opportunity, allowing people at a school there to learn about it. Gunnarstein, who has recently qualified, says she enjoys the profession.
