Police solve break-ins at Icelandic livestock farms
Police in the capital region have solved break-ins and property damage at Stjörnugrís’s facility on Kjalarnes, Reykjabú in Mosfellsbær and several other farms in southern Iceland and Kjalarnes, mbl.is reports.
A man in his twenties was arrested and has confessed to the offences, according to a statement from the police.
A break-in occurred at Reykjabú in Mosfellsbær in June. The break-in at Dalsbú in Mosfellsdal remains under investigation, but the investigation is progressing well.
A large number of mink had to be killed after escaping during the break-in in Mosfellsdal.
