Yle seeks workers affected by stricter remote-work rules

Yle is looking for people whose employers have increased the amount of work required at the workplace. The broadcaster wants to hear how the shift from remote work to on-site work has affected their daily lives.

Many workplaces have recently tightened their remote-work policies, requiring employees to work on-site more often than before.

According to Helsingin Sanomat, OP Financial Group will require employees from October to work on-site at its Helsinki headquarters for at least half of their working hours. Employees who live more than 100 kilometres from the workplace specified in their employment contract will have a transition period until the end of the year.

Yle is inviting people whose workplaces have tightened their remote-work policies to share their experiences through a form. Yle says it will contact respondents if it wants to interview them in more detail and will not publish their information without separate permission.
