DR reports that an unknown person accessed a student’s Aula profile and sent threatening messages to Fløng School in Høje-Taastrup Municipality.
The messages referred to a possible school shooting. The incident took place last weekend and was reported to police.
Copenhagen’s Western Suburbs Police confirmed receiving a report about the threat. Based on its investigation, police quickly assessed that there was no danger to students or staff and no reason to believe a school shooting would take place.
Høje-Taastrup Municipality said the school leadership informed parents about the threats and the police assessment. The municipality added that support would be provided to students and parents who had been alarmed.
Aula is the shared communication platform for staff, parents and pupils at public schools and day-care facilities.
